Use as an ingredient in Liberty Vineyards Autumn Chicken and Fruit Salad, or enjoy alone as a snack with your favorite glass of Liberty Vineyards wine.
- 1 cup white sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 egg white 1 tablespoon water 1 pound pecan halves
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F°. Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt together in a small bowl. In a medium bowl, whisk together egg white and water until the mixture is foamy. Add the pecans and toss well. Add sugar mixture over the moistened pecans and combine until well mixed. Spread the coated pecans on a cookie sheet. Bake, stirring every 15 minutes, until the pecans are evenly browned, about 1 hour. Remove from oven, place in a single layer on a sheet of aluminum foil, and allow to cool. When completely cool, store in an airtight container.
