Food and wine pairing is an art. You should always drink the wines you like best, but certain wine and food combinations do enhance the flavor of both the wine and the food. Experience those winning combinations at our upcoming Holiday Wine & Food Pairing. The event will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Tickets are now available and are $26.50/person presale (if we have any space remaining the day of the event, tickets will be $29.50 at the door). Space is limited, so we suggest making reservations early.
Wines and foods will be served station-style so you can mingle and taste at your own pace. Stations will be set up in our tasting room and tank room. The holiday-inspired menu features a variety of appetizers selected to pair with our award-winning wines. Station 1 will include cheese, crackers and pepperoni with your choice of wine; allowing you to experiment with wine and food pairing. Station two will include Caprese Salad Skewers and Antipasto Skewers served with Sparkling Riesling–a festive sparkling wine that is perfect for New Year’s Eve or any special occasion. Station three will feature cheese and bacon stuffed mushrooms and bacon-wrapped water chestnuts paired with your choice of Dry Diamond or super-popular Diamond wine.
Station Four will feature foods perfect for a casual holiday party or game-day get together. The station will feature Chicken Wing Dip paired with Purple Haze and Pulled Pork Sliders paired with our best-selling Reds, Whites & Blues wine. Station five will feature a variety of desserts–Red Velvet Cake Truffles, Christmas Cookies and Fresh Fruit paired with Cool Cat, our late harvest wine, and Chocolette, our chocolate-flavored dessert wine.
