Harvest Begins

Aurore grapes are always one of our first grape varieties to ripen and this year was no exception, with harvest in these grapes starting today. These citrusy white grapes are used in some of our popular blends including Reds, Whites & Blues and Traminette. Yum!

Aurore is a white hybrid grape that is also known as Seibel 5279. Sheldon Burmaster planted our Aurore vineyard in the 1960s, with profits from the vineyard slated to help put his three kids through college.
