Dine in the Vines 2013: A Prime Rib Dinner was another great success! Approximately 80 winery friends joined us for a prime rib dinner alongside the vineyards. Guests began their evening with a wine tasting in our tasting room, and an open house of the tank and barrel room.
Gary also had the mechanical harvester out for display, and had collected sample grape bunches so guests could see the various grape varieties up close.
3Cs Catering once again did a great job with the meal. Following a toast, we enjoyed bacon-wrapped water chestnuts paired with guests’ choice of our Dry Diamond or Diamond wines. Next up was a salad course followed by a great Prime Rib dinner paired with guests’ choice of Barrel-Select Cabernet Sauvignon or Rufus Red. Dessert was served in the tasting room, and guests were welcome to sit outside and continue to enjoy the beautiful evening and great background music provided by Marshall Seddon. When they were ready, they could head into our tasting room to enjoy vanilla ice cream and a brownie paired with our Gold-medal-winning Chocolette wine.
